As you are aware, I have expanded my business over the past few years while still maintaining my focus on fostering new talent.  One of those ladies is Candra Misky. Georgina discovered her a few months ago while scouting a commercial shoot in LA. At the time Candra used another talent agency but had become quite dissatisfied with their limited success in finding her acting jobs or modeling shoots. You see, she grew up in a small Midwestern town and moved to LA when she was only eighteen with dreams of someday winning an Oscar. However, like most young aspiring actors in Hollywood, the years passed with little or no roles for her to portray. Over the next nine years she worked as a dental hygienist while pursuing her acting dreams. She posed for some bikini magazines and found some small roles as an extra in a few television series (her biggest was on one popular crime drama where she played the victim of a murder) or in some regional commercials, but still that big break into stardom eluded her.  Georgina approached Candra and showed her the potential we could offer. She was reluctant at first when she learned most of our more popular women performed in more adult works, but as I said my company is branching out. Since joining us, now at the age of twenty-seven, Candra has appeared in a very popular men’s magazine wearing lingerie and several roles in national commercials.

Now a few weeks ago I learned of a project over at Tepid Studios where they were wanted to make a live action version of a popular comic series called The Empress Chronicles.  I was intrigued by this because over the past few years Hollywood has been making billions by bringing comic book characters to the big screen, and although this was adult oriented the project offered great promise for a large financial pay-off.  I met with the CEO of Tepid Studios and offered him a proposal. With a portfolio in hand of my beauties and their body of work, I suggested that one of them could star in this latest project. As we sat in his office one immediately came to his attention because she bore such a striking resemblance to the main character, Acantha.  I have to admit that before that meeting I had not considered Candra for the role knowing that she preferred to avoid adult roles fearing that it might hurt her acting aspirations, but with a project like this and the budget involved, I felt compelled to offer her this opportunity. Several adult film stars had made the jump to mainstream success, and she has the potential to make that same leap with the right exposure. I called her on the phone and told her the details of the role and the film project. At first she was hesitant, but several hours later she called me back and agreed to come out to Tepid Studios and see what the project could offer her.  The rest of this tale I will leave for you to discover in the coming weeks as filming has already started.
